How the Library Works
MaisonRMI provides pre-approved legal templates to accelerate deal velocity while staying compliant with regional regulations. The Legal Operations team maintains the library and tracks deviations through the contract playbook.
Governance
- Template Ownership – Legal Operations manages primary versions; Revenue Legal signs off on updates.
- Version Control – All edits occur via pull requests with semantic version tags (e.g., v1.1.0).
- Deviation Log – Exceptions require a Jira ticket with legal approval noted in the deal desk Slack channel.
Request Flow
- Standard deal: Use the matching template, populate variable fields, and send for signature via PandaDoc.
- Non-standard terms: Submit a contract modification request outlining customer asks, commercial impact, and suggested mitigations.
